Kriya Birawa was found in 2020 by a group of high-school students under the name "Caidumzi Productions". After some time, this eventually developed into a fellowship of student filmmakers, which would always put an effort to incorporate Indonesia's vibrant culture into its works - to further empower local filmmakers.
